For the Opera del Duomo museum in Florence, GruppoMeta created and optimised a web portal to communicate and provide access to the cultural heritage of the museum and the cathedral complex. Using the metaCMS software and a customised version of the Ubicult application (based on metaFAD), the portal manages and presents both the visit areas and related services, as well as a section dedicated to the art, manuscript and archive collections belonging to the museum and managed in the Arnolfo catalogue. The system is designed to optimise the cataloguing, data retrieval and viewing of the records of more than 2000 works, providing an advanced search experience and customised end user experience.

In addition to the services and tools offered on the web portal, GruppoMeta has developed the Corali app, a reading room application for browsing digital reproductions of the choirbooks preserved in the Florentine Cathedral's historical archive on a multimedia lectern and listening to audio reproductions of associated musical contributions.
