The SRI Integrated Search System Project was developed to provide a comprehensive solution for the management of the literary, manuscript and audiovisual heritage of Italian libraries. The platform, realised with a customisation of the metaFAD software, brings together the information and catalogue resources of several specialised portals, creating an integrated and co-functional system for easier and more coordinated use.
The system manages around 11 million library records, including historical and digital documents, with an interface that allows library records and digital objects to be consulted through portals such as MOL ManusOnline, Edit16, Alphabetica, Opac SBN and TDI Teca Digitale.
