With Italy as the guest of honor, the Frankfurt Book Fair took place from October 16 to 20, one of the most important international events for the publishing world. The event saw the participation of over 4,300 exhibitors from 153 countries and 115,000 professional visitors (+10,000 compared to 2023).

GruppoMeta shared a space at the collective stand dedicated to Italy, the Guest of Honor of the Fair. The stand was created by ITA - Itralian Trade Agency and AIE - Associaizone Italiana Editori.

The collective stand was inaugurated on October 16 in the presence of Culture Minister Alessandro Giuli and the Minister for Culture and Media of the federal Government of Germany Claudia Roth.

Among the most significant panels was one on Artificial Intelligence and the European AI Act, which introduced new rules to ensure transparency in generative AI while also fostering innovation.

GruppoMeta met with numerous publishers and industry professionals to present its Made in Italy solutions based on advanced technologies and AI, and to discuss the future of publishing.
